Maatus Pealler is the electronic alter ego of an artist, professor and musicologist. In his performances and compositions he focuses on exploring new soundscapes by using synthesizers and acoustic instruments as solistic interferences or acousmatic sources. In his DJ sets he acts as a storyteller that can take the listener from 0 to 100 using a tasteful selection of world music, bass, future beats, jazz and uptempo tribal music. He is also known for the Dragonfly Variations, a graphic variations series made by different artists starting from a theme that depicts a dragonfly made of music instruments.
